Parkwood Behavioral Health System includes a 148-bed inpatient acute and residential care facility, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.For more information about Parkwood Behavioral Health System, please visit our website at .Assistant Director of Assessment & ReferralFull-timeMonday through Friday3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.Under the direction of the Director of Assessment and Referral, the Assistant Director of Assessment and Referral assures smooth and orderly admissions into the hospital. Receives incoming admission inquiry calls, assesses patients for admission, and makes appropriate referrals. The Assistant Director also participates in staff evaluation, shift leadership, and provides task assignment and accountability necessary to complete all admissions related duties for their shift.
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. The Assistant Director of Assessment & Referral must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the department and hospital.Education:Master’s Degree required in Psychology, Sociology or related field.Experience:Two (2) years’ experience clinical experience in a psychiatric setting. Prior management experience preferred.Licensure/Certification:LCSW, LMSW or LPC preferred. CPR Certification required.Knowledge:Prefer knowledge of recruitment, selection, benefits, employment law, worker’s compensation, compensation, employee relations.
