What You’ll Do
Accounting (Core Focus)
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, subcontractor invoicing, and lien releases.
- Prepare and submit detailed bank draw requests to lenders and equity partners.
- Maintain accurate financial records and generate regular ownership reports.
- Oversee vendor payments and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Lead onboarding, benefits, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, OSHA, and company policies.
- Act as liaison with insurance providers, bonding agents, and auditors.
- Serve as the central hub for executives, project managers, and subcontractors.
- Support leadership with administrative needs and operational oversight.
- Oversee property management teams, ensuring cost efficiency and accountability across company-owned assets.
- 5+ years of accounting and office management experience in construction (mid-rise multifamily preferred).
- Expertise with construction accounting systems (Sage, Viewpoint, Procore, or similar).
- Proven track record managing bank draws, subcontractor payments, and financial reporting.
- HR knowledge (recruitment, onboarding, benefits, compliance).
- Experience dealing with insurance, OSHA, bonding, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; approachable and dependable.
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
