- 1-3 years quality/engineering experience in manufacturing environment
- 1-3 years' experience with gauge design and calibration system.
- Minimum 4 year Technical Degree, or
- Equivalent quality experience
- Desired 6 months supervision experience
- Proven Quality Assurance Management knowledge and experience with ISO 9001.
- Proven employee relations skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills and use of statistical methods (Six Sigma tools, SPC).
- Knowledge of internal quality audit procedures.
- Proven knowledge of ISO standards and procedures.
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel - SQL a plus).
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).
- Responsible to implement and monitor Quality Systems, materials and product specifications in accordance with Company Policy and ISO standards.
- Responsible for the maintenance and oversight of Calibration Quality Systems.
- Responsible for the development and the maintenance of incoming inspection work instructions and records per ISO standards.
- Responsible for the training of personnel on Quality System requirements and procedures as required.
- Collaborates with other departments, customer and supplier representatives on quality issues and feedback for manufacturing and engineering for corrective/preventive action.
- Responsible to assist with the inspection and qualification of suppliers' product and ensure incoming material quality meets established criteria.
- Responsible for problem solving of internal quality issues for continuous improvement.
- Participates in the production readiness process of new designs and new equipment.
- Develop and support new gauge methods for improvements to inspection methods and process controls.
- Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to 12 hours per day
- Will climb stairs on an occasional basis
- Will exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, push or pull on a seldom basis
- Will lift, push or pull up to 27 pounds on a frequent basis
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects repetitively on a frequent basis
- 20/40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
- May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
- May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards)
- All associates working on the production floor may be required to wear a respirator at any given time and thus, the ability to wear a respirator is a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair)
