- Developing and owning iManage’s corporate communications strategy and plan, including establishing our category leadership messaging and positioning.
- Creating and managing a regular cadence of PR and byline articles that raise awareness of iManage’s competitive positioning, product innovations and success in the market.
- Managing external PR freelancers to deliver high quality press coverage globally.
- Building strong relationships with external journalists and publications to support the iManage message and market position
- Identifying market trends and using complex research reports to create and promote insightful thought leadership to position iManage as the market leader, working closely with the internal content team.
- Crafting and directing messaging, speeches and presentations for key events.
- Advising on communications strategy for senior leadership and providing expert advice and guidance to marketing teams and business leadership.
- Providing media training to key spokespeople as required.
- Dealing effectively with any reputational challenges that arise.
- Directing, planning and executing analyst relations activities, working with internal stakeholders, including preparation of briefing materials and presentations that influence target analysts and secure inclusion in relevant reports.
- Identifying and building opportunities for iManage SMEs and Customers to speak at external events
- Working with the content team to build and execute strategies for iManage to exploit new channels, including influencer engagement and employee advocacy (working closely with the Employer Brand team and People Operations).
- Working closely with the Internal Communications team to inform the corporate communications strategy and ensure key messages are shared with iManage across appropriate channels.
- Measuring results of communications activities to ensure they align with and show a clear contribution to key business objectives and positive brand impact
- Managing a team of 3 external PR freelancers.
- 5+ years' experience in a leading corporate communications or senior agency role
- Existing relationships with key journalists at leading business titles
- Experience of working with or within the professional services industry
- Knowledge of the technology press
- Experience managing external agencies and freelancers across multiple countries
- Excellent editorial skills, including drafting, editing, and proofing
- Excellent verbal communications and presentation skills
- Proven leadership expertise and influencing skills, and able to operate at senior executive level
- The ability to exercise sound judgement, be calm under pressure and operate collaboratively within a dynamic international team
