
Quality Engineer II

- Use formal problem-solving techniques to resolve product and process related issues, leading cross functional teams to eliminate recurrence of non-conformance including corrective action verification
- Lead cross-functional teams, to ensure containment, root cause analysis, corrective action and communication to customers
- Evaluate customer requirements during order processing, drive implementation of new customer specific requirements and negotiate requirements not in the best interest of TE Connectivity
- Designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality data
- Review and approval of First Article reports
- Work cross-functionally to disposition nonconforming product found at incoming, in process or returned from customers and approve any deviations required
- Update customers in a timely fashion regarding product quality and project requests
- Coordinate with plant Quality Managers to discuss and resolve product quality issues raised by customers
- Issue Quality Alerts for non-conforming product delivered to customers
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
- 2+ years' experience in Quality or Reliability Engineering
- Demonstrated expertise in quality tools, practices, and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills are required
- Working knowledge of ISO 9000, and preferably AS9100
- MILSPEC preferred
- Testing and reporting requirements
- First Article Inspection (FAI) experience
- Process control knowledge
- Ability to use testing and measurement equipment
- Successfully worked in a team environment assisting various departments requiring consistent quality assurance systems to succeed
- Ability to influence and drive cross-functional teamwork and work well with internal and external customers and other culture

- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $81,500 - $122,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
