Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Discuss with students and parents student account related questions on the telephone, in person, and/or through email
  • Discuss and explain how financial aid impacts account balance
  • Take payments over the telephone, in person, or by email (check, cash, charge)
  • Bill fees to student accounts
  • Fill out refund requests for credit balances when requested by students, or automatically if credit is created by any Federal funds or some State aid
  • Process drop/add forms
  • Prepare and analyze student related reports
  • Send monthly statements to students
  • Maintains payment plan spreadsheet and sends monthly email reminders
  • Bill payment plan late fees
  • Set up monthly payment plans
  • Set up auto drafts
  • Issue book vouchers as necessary
  • Other office duties as deemed necessary
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No supervisory responsibilities required.Work Hours:Full-time/37.5 hours per week. Generally, Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Hours may be extended to meet the needs of the department.Environmental and Working Conditions/ Physical Demands and Aptitudes:
Sedentary work. Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must have the ability to travel short distances, and/or drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials. Exerting up to 15 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.Title IX Implications:Responsible employee

Special Requirements:
Brenau University performs criminal background checks on all new hires. Employees must maintain a favorable criminal history while employed, and random background checks may be conducted. Additional checks may be performed for certain roles. Credit checks are required for positions that handle company funds or credit cards. Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs) are run for employees who operate a university vehicle or drive on university business. To be approved for travel, employees must be at least 21 years old, have a valid Georgia driver's license, and a good driving record. Drug screening may be required for employees in sensitive positions, those who travel regularly, or those who operate a university vehicle. All employees are subject to reasonable suspicion drug screening.Licensure Requirements:
