The successful candidate will report directly to the Finishing Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly work environment with a team that is dedicated and passionate about the organization.Essential Functions/Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Lift metal parts from pallets and hang with hooks on a moving conveyor.Properly space parts and hang in a manner to drain washing residue and allow paint to dry properly.Arrange paint hooks on conveyor as to different size.Assure parts which are scheduled to be painted for correct color codes.Remove all paint hooks from conveyor at end of shift.Maintain good housekeeping at all times to prevent accidents.Be aware of and observe safety practices and procedures.Report on issues, malfunctions or defective parts.Other duties as assigned.CompetenciesResults drivenStrong Communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skillsAttention to detailTime ManagementEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or EquivalentPrior experience in manufacturing preferredPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee will go prolong periods standing or walking in assigned area, is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear.
