We are looking for hard-working foremen that have a positive attitude working as a team member with our current crews. Generally, new team members will work and train to learn the craft and techniques related to decorative concrete, stained concrete, and stamped concrete overlays, concrete restoration and repair. We consider ourselves craftspeople, who take pride in bringing artistry to one of the most durable, affordable, and beautiful materials on earth. We use our proprietary resurfacing process over existing concrete to complete both residential and commercial projects and stand behind our work. At Concrete Craft, you will be trained and expected to master our products and techniques. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for the management of assigned tasks and projects for you and the crew.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Capture a thorough understanding of the project scope of work, capable of sequencing the project details correctly and efficiently managing the team members activities.
  • Ability to communicate with the sales team what the project expectations are, discuss and schedule the project with the customer to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Comprehensive understanding of numerous decorative concrete processes including repair and restoration (training will be included).
  • Required to track all material required for the project, record time and materials installed according to company protocol. Understand project job costing procedures and report accordingly.
  • Apply concrete overlays and coatings to properly prepared surfaces
  • Installation of water and solvent-based materials such as epoxies, crack repair/fillers, overlays, sealers, and stains.
  • Grind, repair cracks and clean/finish concrete surfaces
  • Stamp, stain, hand-paint, and seal surfaces for decorative finishing
  • Create concrete structures for residential and commercial properties
  • Set up forms and pour concrete
  • Operate vehicles, grinder/polishers/floor buffer, hand power tools, vacuums, and other industry-related equipment following safety procedures.
  • Mix correct ratios of products to be used for the job
  • Prepare and organize tools and job site
  • Follow protocol and established processes
  • Cleans and store all equipment and tooling upon completion of jobs.
  • Attend seminars and training conferences as required.
  • Keep vehicle and trailer neat and tidy
  • Take before and after pictures/videos of work orders and forward onto General Manager
  • Attend mandatory weekly team meetings covering scope of work orders
  • Drive vehicle and trailer to and from each work order on a as needed basis
  • Ensure all equipment, tools and vehicles are maintained according to company policies.
  • Other small tasks, as assigned by direct report(s)
Qualifications / Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Prospective candidates must be able to pass a background check, have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and a good driving record, and ability to drive a truck and trailer
  • Pre-employment drug screen required
  • Requires physical work including working on hands/knees and pushing or pulling objects and lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in concrete or construction industry with similar experience managing teams
  • Ability to work long hours and may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Use of hand tools and small power tools
