- Required/preferred experience education Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred or equivalent combination or work experience and education.
- Proven track record of success in senior finance roles, with at least 15 years of experience in progressively responsible positions.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align financial goals with overall corporate objectives.
- Demonstrated integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all interactions and decisions.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term strategic plans.
- Provide analysis and insights into financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Assess financial risks and opportunities, and make recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and laws.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and regulatory filings.
- Accounting Operations:
- Direct the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient operations.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Treasury and Cash Management:
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee banking relationships and debt financing activities.
- Optimize investment strategies to maximize returns while minimizing risk.
- Financial Strategy and Decision Support:
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Evaluate capital allocation decisions, investment opportunities, and potential acquisitions.
- Collaborate with other functional leaders to drive cross-functional initiatives and achieve company goals.
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.
- Develop and mentor finance professionals to enhance their skills and capabilities.
