- Assist in providing customer service by greeting customers/delivery drivers at sales desk, generating pick-up tickets, directs customers/delivery drivers where to drop-off/pick-up loads.
- Answers phone and screen callers to see if you can provide answers to their questions otherwise, direct calls to the proper person/department.
- Assists Operations/General Manager in the scheduling of installation jobs as necessary.
- Schedule pre-employment appointments and coordinate with HR and payroll departments on pre-employment, new hire and separation paperwork, employee timecards, etc. Maintain personnel files for branch location
- Assist accounting dept personnel with inventory preparation and reconciliations.
- High School degree or above and 2-3 years related work experience required.
- Knowledge and familiarity of construction business very helpful. Ability to prioritize, work productively in office, use good judgement and problem-solving skills while striving to work safely at all times.
- Possesses basic computer skills with ability to use MS Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to learn Sage accounting software.
