HybridWhat you will doThe Senior Customer Development Analyst is a meaningful role that allows us to improve our partnership with our retailers by providing category solutions and insights that drive profitable Omni category growth. In this role, a successful candidate will partner with a specific customer team in the development and execution of category reviews, merchandising plans, provide insights through the collection of relevant market trends and shopper research. You will have the opportunity to work on beloved brands such as Neutrogena®, Aveeno®, Tylenol®, Zyrtec®, and Band-Aid®.Key Responsibilities
- Focused on strategic categories that are essential for the growth of the customer and Kenvue
- Drive sales growth by uncovering business opportunities via deep-dive analytics, independently discerning trends and providing insights-based recommendations. Data sources include: retailer
- Ensures data is accurately formed, reported, and error-free through careful review and refinement prior to performing analysis
- Provides high quality, unbiased category management recommendations to customer retailers and field sales to enable them to drive traffic, increase market share and improve efficiencies
- Collaborate with Customer Development Managers to evolve promotional plans, evaluate the impact of pricing and track competitive marketplace activity to unlock internal and external growth opportunities.
- Work with internal partners to provide voice of customer to craft our go to market initiatives and to provide an understanding of the external marketplace
- Provides SKU optimization recommendations by providing shopper, category, brand and/or customer insights to support strategies and recommendations for customers
- Integrate Omni-channel initiatives into analysis of business results
- Leads strategic initiatives outside of day-to-day analytical support
- Mentors/coaches junior members of the team
- 4-yr degree or equivalent required
- At least 2 years prior experience in customer sales, merchandising, analytics or in a consumer products environment required
- Ability to work effectively within a dynamic, complex matrix, changing environment
- Ability to draw key insights that are actionable and will drive growth
- Ability to summarize and influence decisions through data
- Ability to assess marketplace and various consumer retail business models

- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills are required
- Working knowledge of the following data tools: syndicated scan, shopper panel and assortment optimization tools (Nielsen and/or Circana), ad tracking (Numerator), and PowerBI preferred
- Ecommerce and omnichannel experience
- Prior experience with JDA or other space planning software is preferred
