Description of WorkThis position provides Benefits and Human Resources project support requiring independent judgment for the Vice President for Business and Finance Office at the University of Nebraska System Office. Responsibilities in summary include, but are not limited to, preparing confidential correspondence and business documentation for university benefits related transactions; creating and submitting human resource, payroll and financial operational forms; and monitoring payroll related information.Sponsorship for employment is not being offered for this position.#LI-DNI
Minimum Required QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelor's degree
Required Experience:4 years experience in Human Resource operational support for Benefits, Payroll, or related transactional business processes.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Proficiency with Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.Equivalent combination of education, experience, that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.Preferred QualificationsPreferred Experience: SAP enterprise system experience with HR applicationsPreferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: An understanding of the organizational structures and business processes across the University of Nebraska.The ideal candidate is an agile, self-starter comfortable with attention to detail; an energetic, creative problem solver who is able to work independently along with the judgment to seek supervision and/or input from others when necessary; a resilient learner; the ability to responsibly manage competing priorities; and commitment to the ideals of a major public research university.
