- Desktop support responsible for the configuration and maintenance of Windows systems while ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and availability.
- Monitor service request queues and provide desktop system and application troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand program requirements and deliver exceptional IT services.
- Communicate technical issues and strategies to management and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to support extra hours beyond normal work schedule as needed.
- Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 35 pounds across campus for various needs.
- Pursuing Bachelors degree in a related field.
- Experience with working with Windows Desktops.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking protocols, and security best practices.
- Experience with Wyse Management Suite.
- Experience with Active Directory and user management.
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts and working principles.
- Experience supporting Red Hat Linux.
- Experience managing systems under the NIST Risk Management Framework.
