- Provides assessment of educational needs and facilitation of unit compliance.
- Assists Clinical Nurse Manager in identification, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of unit activities, projects, and hospital wide programs.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- CPR required
- ACLS required within 60 days of employment
- Minimum of 5 years clinical nursing experience in Cardiovasular field with open-heart recovery experience preferred

- Proficient in Microsoft office products especially Excel spreadsheets and Power Point
- Must be able to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and policies
- Monitors outcomes and oversees process improvement activities associated with Cardiothoracic patients in collaboration with clinical and leadership teams to drive quality outcomes
- Responsible for maintaining all regulatory guidelines and requirements
- Collaboration with leadership to facilitate activities associated with system expansion of Cardiothoracic program including physician and clinical staff education
- Coordinates pre-op education and collaborates with Cardiothoracic office and PAT to ensure appropriate pre-op testing completed
