Schedule: Monday - FridayPay: Based on experienceJob Location: Russellville, ARPosition Type: Full-TimeEducation Level: Bachelor's degree (or higher) from a four- year college, three to five years related experience and training in a supervisory or leadership capacity; Specific knowledge of the field.SUMMARY:The Director of Community Support is responsible for leadership and oversight of Friendship Community Care's community support programs. This role ensures operational efficiency, staff development, and regulatory compliance. The Director ensures high-quality, equitable services across all programs while building strategic partnerships that expand and enhance offerings.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Program Oversight and Service Delivery
  • Oversee day-to-day operations for all community support programs.
  • Establish and monitor program goals, outcomes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and manage departmental service models that adapt to evolving needs of the population served.
Staff Supervision and Development
  • Directly supervise assistant director, program managers, and site supervisors to ensure consistent staff performance.
  • Develop training and mentorship programs for new hires and emerging leaders.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and guide professional development plans.
  • Ensure staffing levels meet service demand and quality requirements.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal guidelines, including Medicaid, HIPAA, and licensing standards.
  • Lead internal audits and prepare for external inspections or accreditations.
  • Implement risk management strategies and lead corrective action plans when necessary.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met in all service sites.
Community Engagement and Partnerships
  • Represent FCC in external stakeholder meetings, community forums, and collaborative initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external service providers, funding agencies, and advocacy groups.
  • Coordinate with marketing and outreach teams to promote FCC's programs and values in the community.
  • Develop programming that integrates community resources and opportunities for persons served.
Reporting and Strategic Planning
  • Prepare regular program performance reports and data analysis for CEO.
  • Develop annual departmental goals and budgets with input from staff and stakeholders.
  • Identify funding opportunities and collaborate on grant proposals and program development.
  • Contribute to strategic planning efforts and lead implementation of approved initiatives.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of Behavioral Health Directors, clients, customers, and the general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as discounts, interest, commissions proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.REASONING ABILITY:Ability to resolve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.   • The Code of Conduct and Compliance Investigation Procedures as read and discussed in the new employee training must be followed at all times.
  • Consumers' progress notes be maintained and completed daily or as needed on the prescribed forms.
  • Consumers' records must be maintained weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly. All information must be filed in consumers' records as needed and updated as prescribed by funding sources.
