Maintain equipment to meet safety, quality, and production goals
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and make adjustments
Work on pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Work on gear boxes, bearings, belts, chains, rollers, pumps.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services
Perform simple machinist skills
Use a variety of hand and power tools
Follow Safety and Health policies and procedures
Ability to drive material handling equipment or be trained to drive material handling equipment

QualificationsQaulifications:Maintenance Mechanics interface with managers, team members, vendors, and customers. Therefore, the following skills and proficiencies are also essential requirements of the position:

Minimum 2-4 years of industrial maintenance experience or industrial maintenance associates degree with a willingness to grow into the job
Must take and pass Ramsey Mechanical Aptitude Test
Computer skills and/or ability to be trained on work order system
Ability to effectively communicate to aid in trouble shooting
Welding experience, a plus
Must show initiative and adapability to work independently and/or as part of a team
Must have strong desire to learn, develop, and adapt to new equipment and methods
Experience or desire to work 2nd and/or 3rd shift a plus.
Be willing to work overtime as required to meet company goals
Track record of staying with a company a minimum of 2 years
Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
