Posting Number P2181FPosition Summary InformationJob Description SummaryThe College of Nursing at Auburn University, located in Auburn, Alabama, invites applications for a full-time on-campus, 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position. Candidates with adult health nursing experience are sought to teach nursing theoretical concepts and fundamental clinical skills to our highly qualified nursing students.Auburn University is one of the nation's premier land, sea, and space grant institutions. Auburn offers Bachelor's, First Professional, Master's, Educational Specialist, and Doctoral degrees and is an institution that is both highly research-active and committed to maintaining teaching excellence.The College of Nursing admits traditional BSN students each spring and RN to BSN students each semester. We offer a Master's in Nursing with Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator options. Doctoral programs include the Doctor of Nursing Practice and Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing. The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, master's degree program in nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice program, and post-graduate APRN certificate program at Auburn University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree in nursing at the time employment begins. Must have current clinical skills and be eligible for certification in clinical specialty.
Desired QualificationsDoctorate in Nursing or related field at the time employment begins. Teaching experience in a baccalaureate program and certified in clinical specialty.
