- Monitor and maintain the quality of the Ski and Ride School facilities, support lessons, and ensure smooth operations.
- Manage staffing levels to daily needs for Support Staff and Instructor Aides.
- Manage snack, lunch and other indoor activities.
- Manage the “comfort corner” for sad children working through separation anxiety and those being checked-out early.
- Work with small children to facilitate appropriate games and activities in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Assist with ski school classes and lead indoor activities.
- Monitor and review support staff performance on a regular basis.
- Work with all SRS Management team to support and achieve Guest Experience targets for the success of the Ski & Ride School.
- Understand, lead and model safety standards and the safety business plan for Ski and Ride.
- Establish and review mutual seasonal goals and performance objectives with Instructor Aides and Support Staff, providing feedback and coaching.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, peers and other departments to create an environment of support and trust that will benefit staff and guests.
- Understand, lead and model the Company's mission, vision and values.

- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
- Previous experience working with children
- Previous leadership experience
- Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to ski and/or snowboard at an intermediate level
- Able to work in and build cross functional teams
- Flexible and adaptable to changing environments
- Teaching Experience (ski and ride school or equivalent)
- Previous supervisory experience
- RPOS/ProConnect Proficiency
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- No hazardous materials but noise exposure to snowmaking and grooming equipment
- Appropriate alpine ski or snowboard equipment that includes clothing, boots, bindings, skis or board, radio, computer, phone, fax, race equipment, video and photographic equipment
- Required to work as needed, including holidays, weekends and some evenings.
