As a Manager, Business Intelligence Development, you will work closely with technology, CoEs, and the People Analytics team to innovate and build metrics & analytical products that our business leaders need to help scale and grow lululemon. You will be responsible for collaborating with and supporting stakeholders and partners, using data to influence key strategic business decisions, and scale insights as we grow our work.a day in the life: what you'll do
  • Build data pipelines, reports, dashboards, and analyses to deliver metrics and insights to the business.
  • Design and implement technical solutions with an appropriate analytics strategy and data set design.
  • Understand system limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and/or the reasons for technical decisions.
  • Drive best practices in operational excellence, data modelling, and analysis. Assure BI solutions are correctly and efficiently supporting the business.
  • Implement training and documentation solutions that enable business stakeholders to get the most out of our self-serve reporting tools.
  • Own key executive reports and metrics that are consumed by our executive leadership team and the field organization.
  • Partner with technology, business, and other teams to create and iterate on key performance indicators and new methodologies for measurement.
  • Manage a team of reporting specialists and Business Intelligence Developers, ensuring cohesion of reported metrics and development.
  • Contribute to strategy of Business Intelligence vertical of the People Analytics Team.
qualifications
  • 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as PowerBI.
  • 5+ years of analysis experience, people analytics preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.
  • Worked extensively in large scale data bases and data warehouses.
  • Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets.
  • 1+ year of experience as a people manager
  • Excellent communication skills and experience successfully partnering with senior leaders to drive improved outcomes for the business through analytics.
  • Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and detail orientation.
  • Proven ability to deliver presentations to stakeholders that tell a compelling story using analytics relevant to the audience.
  • Advanced People Analytics domain knowledge preferred.
  • Discretion and experience working with sensitive and confidential data.
  • Experience with Workday and Avature a plus.

The typical hiring range for this position is from $145,700-$191,200 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
