
Environmental Manager - Manufacturing - Relocation Provided

- Oversee all environmental programs for multiple manufacturing facilities, including air, water, waste, hazardous materials, and spill prevention.
- Ensure company-wide compliance with environmental laws and regulations (EPA, RCRA, CAA, CWA, TSCA, etc.).
- Develop, implement, and manage site-specific and corporate-wide environmental policies, procedures, and reporting systems.
- Lead environmental audits, inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate and submit required environmental permits, reports, and documentation to regulatory agencies.
- Provide technical guidance and training to site-level EHS teams and operations personnel.
- Develop and track KPIs related to environmental performance, compliance, and sustainability goals.
- Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership to integrate environmental best practices into daily operations and capital projects.
- Stay current with regulatory changes and industry trends; communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.
- Manage environmental consultants and vendors as needed for site assessments, remediation, or specialized services.
- Support corporate sustainability and ESG initiatives, including Scope 1-3 emissions tracking, waste minimization, and resource efficiency projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years of progressive environmental experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, including multi-site oversight.
- Managerial experience
- Strong knowledge of U.S. environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Proven success leading environmental compliance and sustainability programs.
- Experience managing relationships with regulatory agencies.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30% to manufacturing sites.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CHMM, QEP, CESM, RCRA, HAZWOPER, DOT Hazardous Waste).
- Experience with ISO 14001 or other environmental management systems.
- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, CDP, TCFD).
- Base Salary of $90,000-$125,000
