
Senior Merchandise Planner, Central Planning

- Maintain category level forecasts that are updated monthly or more frequently based on needs of the business, inclusive of units, sales dollars, and margin. Identifies trend and promo changes and impacts to business
- Collaborate with BBWS & BBWD category teams on Semi Annual Sale buys and inventory targets
- Highlight the business opportunities and risks associated with the current financial position and actual performance of the business
- Present business trends and forecast to management in weekly business review, monthly MPR (Monthly Planning Review) and other meetings as needed
- Develop long term forecasts to act as basis for seasonal architecture to meet business needs
- Review and provide hindsights for cross-functional team
- Create and optimize reporting for Omni Channel Semi Annual planning and partner with category teams on reporting needs and opportunities
- Provide the leadership and the necessary formal and informal training, including one-on-one development, needed to support a team that contributes consistent financial growth to the business

- 5-7+ years retail planning or relevant business experience
- Proven ability to be a collaborative partner across multiple departments
- Organized with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deliverables
- Advanced technical skill proficiency using Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
- Advanced technical skill proficiency using Arthur and/or MSI tools preferred; other retail planning systems experience
- Bachelor's degree - finance, operations, economics, business, statistics a plus
