We’re seeking an Electrical Designer who’s passionate about contributing to high-impact projects that lie at the core of our client’s business. As an Electrical Designer, you’ll take on a dynamic mix of fieldwork and design responsibilities—collaborating closely with engineers, project coordinators, and construction trades to bring innovative electrical systems to life. You’ll be instrumental in the optimization and expansion of facility operations and play a vital role in translating complex design requirements into accurate, detailed 2D/3D drawing packages using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.This is a great opportunity to grow within a high-performing team while working on projects that demand precision, creativity, and technical expertise.Key Responsibilities:Perform design and drafting of Life Safety and Security Systems for advanced facilitiesConduct regular site visits to verify field conditions and align implementation with design intentProduce clear and accurate 2D/3D drawing packages using AutoCAD, Revit, and NavisworksCreate electrical layouts: conduit routing, cable tray routing, panel schedules, equipment layout, and one-line diagramsCoordinate with engineers, project coordinators, and trades to prevent clashes and ensure project goals are metParticipate in product and system improvements for design change, cost reduction, and manufacturabilityProvide drafting support for vendor submittals, drawing reviews, and drawing controlAssist with field verifications and contribute to punch list walksRequired Qualifications:Associate’s degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or a related technical field4+ years of progressive CAD drafting/design experience in process systems2+ years of Revit 3D modeling/design experienceProficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and NavisworksStrong knowledge of electrical design concepts and documentation standardsPreferred Experience:Previous work in manufacturing plant or construction environmentsFamiliarity with semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or advanced facilitiesExperience conducting on-site coordination with trades and field verificationKnowledge of NFPA codes and standardsWhy Apply?
