- Lead the system implementation and set up for Oracle ERP core Finance (AP/GL/Financial Reporting/Cash Management/FX/FA etc)
- Lead discovery and requirements gathering sessions around Finance related topics and provide expert level guidance on Oracle best financial practices
- Collaborate with users to identify gaps, capture and map business requirements to Oracle Cloud functionality, and development of solutions.
- Configure Oracle ERP to meet Business Requirements
- Lead configuration and business process walk through with the client
- Serve as the lead Subject Matter Expert within the Oracle Finance functional areas
- Perform Functional Testing, coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with client IT and business process leads.
- Go-Live preparation and cut-over support
- Post-production support
- Provide estimates and timelines to deliver functionality based on Business Requirements
- Provide updates and status reports to the Project Manager around progress and any issues or blockers
- Provide advice and guidance on functionality and implementation strategy for Oracle Cloud Financials
- Minimum 10 years of experience as Oracle Functional consultant with 5+ years of experience in implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud Finance projects and upgrades within the Life Sciences (Pharma/Biotech) industry.
- Strong cross-functional experience and extensive domain knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Costing) and good understanding of supporting ERP SCM Cloud modules (Procurement, Inventory Management, Master Data).
- Strong cross-functional end-to-end knowledge of business processes and system configuration dependencies across financials, accounting, costing with exposure to multiple modules and processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Accounting-to-Reporting and Order-To-Cash.
- Strong understanding of Financial Business Processes (Period-End closing, General Ledger and Subledgers including accounts payable and costing).
- Experience with full software development life cycle (SDLC) – requirements, map/gap, design, build, development, testing, training, cut-over and support of Oracle cloud applications.
- Strong consulting experience and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, business process designs, managing conference room pilots (CRPs), perform functional configuration, and manage testing of Oracle Cloud solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an agile delivery environment.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
