This position is for a General Clerk II Supervisor who will oversee customer service activities ONSITE at the VA Denver Logistics Center. This role ensures that \ all customer service activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with contract requirements and VA standards. Services include handling orders for medical and assistive devices.Responsibilities
·Supervision and leadership to contractor personnel, including On-Site Leads and Support technicians.
·Oversee daily operations to ensure optimal resource utilization and coverage during business hours.
·Validate and sign off on weekly production reports and other deliverables.
·Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA safety standards and internal SOPs.
·Conduct quality control surveillance to ensure adherence to performance standards.
·Coordinate with VA leadership to redirect resources and accommodate workload fluctuations.
·Maintain accurate timekeeping records and ensure timely submission of personnel schedules.
·Attend quarterly meetings with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and provide updates on milestones, challenges, and recommendations.
·Ensure all contractor personnel are properly trained and certified to use VA systems
·Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, problem resolution, and operational coordinationRequirements
·Minimum of 2 years (5 years preferred) supervisory experience in customer service environments (e.g., call centers, retail).
·High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications preferred.
·Proficiency in customer service, oral and written communication.
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
·Typing speed of at least 40 WPM and proficiency in 10-key data entry.
·Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
·Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing operational needs.
·Must pass a Tier 1 background investigation.
