
Customer Service Representative

- Handle registration tasks using state-specific software to manage vital records.
- Review and verify records for accuracy, making necessary corrections.
- Provide guidance to customers on completing forms and address inquiries related to registration processes.
- Process and issue requests through in-person counter services or online orders.
- Ensure documents and records are preserved in compliance with state auditing and regulatory standards.
- Modify and maintain departmental records as assigned.
- Coordinate with external agencies to order records and transfer records appropriately.
- Participate in cross-training initiatives and perform additional duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a customer service-focused environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, or similar software.
- Strong ability to handle inbound calls, data entry, and email correspondence.
- Willingness to adapt responsibilities and working hours during public health emergencies or crises.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills and ability to assist diverse customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-train for various tasks.
