Expected to travel and attend all cross country meets through November 1, 2025 as neededHourly Rate of Pay: $18.23REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:Assist student(s) to whom assigned in physical tasks as required; reinforce rules when coach is absent; work with small groups to reinforce instruction initially introduced by the coach; reinforce behavior management techniques; accompany student(s) when trips are necessary; and serve as resource person, as requested, to the student evaluation team conferring about one of the student(s) to whom assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge, Abilities and Skills – This person must be able to follow instructions and project positive reinforcement; work well with others; relate to and work well with students; communicate with students, staff and the public, both individually and in group situations; good verbal and written skills desired; be able to improvise in difficult and/or unusual situations and be able to function under stress. Good verbal and written skills desired.Characteristics/Traits – Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance; have control over emotions; be self-motivated, punctual, dependable in attendance, reliable in work habits, and be task oriented; exercise discretion and good judgment; be in good physical and mental health; be of good moral character; and be able to derive some degree of satisfaction interacting with students.Education/Training Experience – High School diploma or equivalent is required; job related training preferred. The Ohio Department of Education requires a one-year Educational Aide Permit
