
Senior Financial Analyst

- Create and maintain detailed financial reporting and analysis for assigned areas of the business to identify issues, trends, and opportunities
- Support month-end close and forecast process, inclusive of accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support long-range planning, annual planning and monthly forecasting process and develop reporting and models based on business needs; Enhance the company’s analytical story-telling through volume, price, mix analysis (VPM)
- Support multi-entity, category and customer structure through partnering across the finance team to provide required analytical support
- Ad-hoc reporting, special projects and other department support as needed
- Act as a subject matter expert for the implementation and on-going maintenance of the company’s EPM system
- Develop and deliver financial training to cross-functional teams
- Document departmental policies and procedures, as requested

- Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA | CPA a plus.
- 3+ years of related experience in finance, preferably in the consumer-packaged goods or retailer environment
- Financial modeling, forecasting and scenario planning
- Proficiency across P&L, cash flow and balance sheet; treasury knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of manufacturing financials, inclusive of sales, trade, cost of goods sold and SG&A
- Cost and General accounting a plus
- Proficiently skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and modeling techniques.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Tools, especially Excel
- Proficient with ERP, EPM, and/or manufacturing systems
- Ability to work independently on a wide variety of projects
- Understand basic fundamentals of supply chain management and production
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to transform sales and plant and/or operations activity into financial data and reports (i.e. dollars and cents).
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts and understand financial reporting and data.
- Ability to apply financial acumen to a plant environment.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
