
Senior Vehicle Test Data Engineer

- Coordinate post-flight data analysis functions, including continued development of system health monitoring and data reliability
- Maintain documentation of data policies and procedures for standard operations
- Liaise with Mission Control Center support staff and users
- Follow Mission Control Center procedures and processes
- Ensure Mission Control Center security protocols are followed
- Establish new and/or modify existing procedures and processes for efficiency
- Assist with providing equipment accountability and coordination of Mission Control Center equipment and software installations/removal
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science or similar and ~8-years of experience in Aerospace
- 1-3 years of experience using MongoDB and/or other SQL
- Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB
- Knowledge of instrumentation devices to develop, test, and troubleshoot data processing algorithms for aircraft data
- Demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; Demonstrate ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with bus protocols; Developing, writing and executing data processing acceptance test procedures; Implementation of Windows workstations on an enterprise network
- Knowledge of IADS; IRIG Chapter 10 recording; TMATS; GPS and IRIG time standards and receiving devices
- Working knowledge of aircraft and space systems and familiarity with relevant aerospace standards (FAA, FAA‐AST etc.)
- Knowledge of analog and digital signal conditioning and data acquisition equipment
- Microsoft Office and Windows user experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a ground/flight test control room environment
