Electric Heat is a trusted leader in electric heating and ventilation solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. We are committed to high-quality, energy-efficient solutions that improve environments where people live and work.SUMMARY: Set up and train others to set up mechanical and hydraulic presses with tooling including the machine accessories, such as, decoiler and feed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Set up Mechanical and Hydraulic presses.
  • Determine parts to be run and set up for an area or set of presses.
  • Train other operators on how to operate the Machine and do some set up.
  • Performing operation to process.
  • Retrieve, load, and unload specified materials and parts.
  • Produce parts to drawing tolerances and adjust as needed.
  • Ensure quality and conformance to specifications.
  • Advise supervisor and QC of any quality issues.
  • Use safety devices as prescribed by the manufacturer or MEP.
  • Perform specified preventive maintenance of equipment and tooling and assist in repairs as required.
  • Responsible for ensuring the safe work habits of any associate that you assign to a job you or another set-up person has setup.
  • Fill out all required paperwork and train others on same.
  • Responsible for detailing the quality inspection required by any associate you assign to a job that you or another set-up person has setup.
  • Maintain 5S responsibilities of assigned work areas
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One to two years related experience and/or training
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experienced is machine set up, tooling and fabrication
  • Forklift Certification or experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
  • Math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, including decimals and fractions.
  • Simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings specifications, schedules, wiring diagrams together with the use of adjustable measuring instruments.
