- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the location, documenting details as required by Allied Universal protocols.
- Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries, promoting a welcoming environment within the healthcare setting.
- Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as needed, and helping to maintain authorized access to restricted areas.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies, following established procedures.
- Have Required 1 year of Security Experience
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
