Volarify is proud to support our client, a top-tier restoration provider in Michigan, in their search for an experienced Large Loss Project Manager/Estimator to oversee and estimate complex residential and commercial restoration projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly reputable company known for its professionalism, high-quality work, and positive team culture.If you thrive in fast-paced environments, can manage large losses exceeding $1M per job, and enjoy leading with both precision and empathy, this role was built for you.What You’ll Do:Project Management Responsibilities:Oversee residential and commercial large loss projects from start to finish, with individual loss values often exceeding $1MCoordinate mitigation, reconstruction, and repair schedules across multiple trades and vendorsServe as the main point of contact for property owners, insurance adjusters, engineers, and consultantsTrack project milestones, deadlines, and change orders while ensuring budget adherenceLead jobsite progress meetings, safety compliance, and inspectionsSupervise, train, and when necessary, hire/fire field personnel and subcontractorsEnsure project documentation is complete, accurate, and timely within job management systems (e.g., DASH, Encircle, Xactimate)Estimating Responsibilities:Conduct detailed on-site damage assessments for residential and commercial lossesDevelop accurate scopes and estimates using Xactimate (REQUIRED)Write comprehensive estimates, including CAT losses, structural repairs, and contents restorationNegotiate with insurance adjusters and third-party administrators (TPAs) to ensure fair scope and pricing approvalDevelop and maintain subcontractor/vendor relationships to ensure accurate bids and cost controlSupport emergency response and on-call rotation during high-volume or CAT eventsWhat We’re Looking For:5+ years of project management and estimating experience in restoration or constructionProven success managing large loss projects of $1M+Advanced proficiency in Xactimate and job documentation systems like DASH, Encircle, OutlookKnowledge of building codes, OSHA compliance, and mitigation best practicesExceptional time management, leadership, and client communication skillsAbility to manage multiple high-stakes projects under pressureIICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, etc.) strongly preferredBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in construction management, engineering, or related fieldValid driver’s license and clean driving record requiredWhy Join Our Client?Highly respected company with long-standing success in both commercial and residential restorationCollaborative, hands-on team environment that values professionalism and accountabilityLeadership that supports personal growth, innovation, and long-term career developmentBenefits Include:Competitive Base Salary + Uncapped CommissionProfit SharingCompany Vehicle, Laptop, Cell Phone, and Branded GearHealth, Dental, and Life Insurance (after 60 days)401(k) with 3% Company Contribution (after one year)Paid Time Off + Paid HolidaysAFLAC Supplemental InsuranceSam’s Club MembershipTeam BBQs, Off-Site Events, and Career Growth OpportunitiesReady to Lead Million-Dollar Losses with a Purpose-Driven Team?
