School Social Worker – 2025–2026 School Year – In-PersonAmpersand Therapy is hiring dedicated School Social Workers for the 2025–2026 school year. We offer full-time and part-time in-person positions.As a women- and therapist-founded company started in Washington and now also local to Illinois, our mission is to elevate your school-based experience. Location: In-person
Start Date: August 2025
Service Area: IEP minutes, documentation, staff meetings, and special education team collaborationYour Key Responsibilities
  • Complete IEP minutes and related documentation
  • Collaborate with school Special Education teams
  • Attend staff meetings and support multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Manage caseload (details discussed during interview)
What We’re Looking For
  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in Social Work required
  • Experience working in schools or Special Education is a plus
  • Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a huge plus!
