
Process Engineer, Senior – Thin Films

- Planning and conducting experiments to characterize thin film processes.
- Driving improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability, productivity, and safety.
- BS or MS degree Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent with 10 years of fab experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the programming and operation of thin film deposition tools like E-beam evaporators, Thermal evaporators, sputtering systems, SEMs, and/or overlay measurement tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge in compound semiconductor processes.
- Strong understanding of data mining and statistics, SPC, DOE, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving.
- Must have a proven track record of project ownership, meeting deadlines, and multitasking.
- Must display a strong sense of ownership, drive, and dedication to continuous improvement.
- Must display an enthusiastic boldness for taking on aggressive goals and a commitment to achieving them.
- Must possess the ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to improve processes.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including technical writing for summarizing data and findings, creating process and equipment specifications and work instructions for other engineers and for technicians in the Fab.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
