Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.Requirements:
  • 10+ years' experience with at least 3+ years' experience as a BA/DA
  • Good knowledge of SQL programming
  • Background in programming or strong knowledge of application development with Python, Java, or .Net
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of Capital Markets with focus on Credit Risk, Market Risk or Capital calculations
  • Understanding of regulations within the Capital Markets space (Basel, CRR, CRD IV, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and self-starter, with an ability to identify risks and issues and suggest improvements
Desired skills:
  • Knowledge of Big Data Architectures and Cloud computing
  • Knowledge of machine-learning techniques, classifiers and statistical methods
  • Exceptional intelligence and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read and understand Python code and run reports in MicroStrategy
