The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.Job DescriptionThe Financial Analyst for the CityWalk Finance team will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial planning, reporting, and analysis for CityWalk and Universal Studios Hollywood. In this position, you will report to the Senior Finance Manager who oversees CityWalk Finance. You will have an exciting opportunity to partner with operations and finance to drive results in several fast-paced, results-driven lines of business. The Financial Analyst will assist with revenue and expense forecasting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.Job Duties:
Prepare annual operating plan, monthly forecasts, monthly position update, and latest estimates
Perform monthly close and prepare monthly performance packages with in-depth analytical and operational variances versus budget and prior year actuals
Strengthen controls to ensure a “no surprises” environment. Leverage relationships with operating partners to optimize efficiencies and influence behavior
Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual performance packages for senior management addressing budget and prior year variances
Partner with operational management and the finance team to develop key operational/financial metrics, improve current financial processes, make recommendations to optimize efficiencies, and influence decisions
Help execute ad-hoc requests
Execute job functions near flawlessly for all reporting, planning/budget/LE, month-end close, special projects, and assigned deliverables
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
0-2 years of Finance experience
Interest in Theme Park/Entertainment Finance
Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Flexible mindset to be able to take on new challenges outside of the job description as they arise
Excellent work ethic, initiative and self-motivation, requiring minimal supervision
Solid presentation and both verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work with and influence a wide spectrum of stakeholders
