Assistant Project Manager – Mechanical/HVACMetropolitan Mechanical Contractors (MMC) is looking for an Assistant Project Manager(APM) to join our driven and dedicated Construction Group team in Cedar Rapids, IA for the next year. You can reside anywhere but will need to be in Cedar Rapids, IA during the week for the duration of this project. You will receive a monthly housing allowance while you are working on this project for the next 12 months, to cover the additional expenses of working on the road. With over 300,000 mechanical contracting projects completed and over 60 years of experience, we aim to hire the industry’s top talent.In this role, you’ll partner with the project manager to oversee and coordinate project plans for construction projects from preconstruction through post-construction and startup. Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Building Mechanical Systems, Construction Management, AECM with Building Mechanical Systems or Mechanical Engineering with HVAC emphasis is preferred.
