The VP of Marketing will be responsible for rebuilding the organization’s marketing function establishing the strategy, structure, and systems to drive pipeline generation, increase brand visibility, and support customer expansion. You’ll oversee demand generation, product marketing, content, digital, and marketing operations, while partnering closely with Sales, RevOps, and Customer Success. This is a highly strategic, hands-on role reporting to the President and contributing directly to board-level goals.Skills and Qualifications10+ years of B2B marketing experience, including at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership roleProven ability to build marketing from the ground up in a growth-stage tech company (ideally SaaS)Strong background in demand generation and product marketingHands-on experience building marketing orgs, campaigns, and scalable systemsAnalytical mindset with deep fluency in metrics like CAC, pipeline conversion, campaign ROI, and attributionExceptional communication and leadership skills; ability to lead cross-functionally and represent marketing at the executive levelExperience selling to and developing verticals to identify ICPs and the right personas with an ABM approach.Experience working with operations, logistics, or supply chain buyers is a plusResponsibilities Strategy & LeadershipDefine the marketing vision, roadmap, and OKRs aligned with the organization’ growth goalsBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team (including agency partners, contractors, and future hires)Serve as a key member of the GTM leadership team, aligning closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Customer SuccessPipeline & Demand GenerationOwn full-funnel throughout Marketing to drive qualified pipeline across segments and geographiesDesign and execute integrated campaigns, ABM strategies, digital programs, and event marketingBuild and scale Account Based Marketing (ABM) programs to target high-value accounts with personalized campaignsCollaborate with SDRs and Sales to refine lead scoring, nurturing, and handoff processesPartner with RevOps to track pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and campaign performanceProduct & Content MarketingRebuild positioning and messaging for company’s value proposition across customer segments and industriesOwn sales enablement materials, customer stories, product launches, and thought leadership contentDevelop content strategies tailored to specific verticals (e.g., retail, furniture, appliance delivery, logistics), ensuring alignment with buyer needs and sales prioritiesServe as a voice of the customer and market in partnership with Product and SalesMarketing OperationsWorking with Revenue Operations to stand up marketing analytics, dashboards, and reporting (with RevOps)Visibility and analytical tracking of the entire pipelineOptimize the marketing tech stack (CRM, Marketing Automation, analytics tools such as HubSpot, SFDC, Gong, Outreach, etc.)Establish budget, campaign planning processes, and quarterly reportingBrand & CommunicationsStrengthen the organization’s market presence and category leadershipLead brand evolution and voice across all touchpointsDrive PR, analyst relations, and executive visibility in key verticalsThis is a remote /Anywhere in US opportunity.
