ResponsibilitiesPeraton is seeking a Lead SME Cloud Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develops, and implements cloud-based solutions, including creating architecture plans and specifications.
  • Collaborates with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud-based products, services, and applications.
  • Drives the deployment and enhancement of cloud management platforms, evaluating performance and implementing improvements.
  • Expands the product portfolio of cloud services and value-added services.
  • Creates solution recommendations and estimates for cloud services, evaluating cost/benefit compared to other hosting solutions.
  • Performs operations and maintenance of secure managed cloud platform solutions.
  • Implements and maintains automation for operational enhancements, alerting, and event auto-remediation.
  • Develops, maintains, and deploys infrastructure as code using CI/CD pipelines.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience or a High School Diploma and 9 years of experience.
  • Experience architecting IT solutions using DevOps methodologies in multi-cloud environments, including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.
  • Certification as an Amazon Solutions Architect Professional.
  • Advanced experience with both the Google Cloud Platform and the Azure Cloud Platform.
  • Experience as an enterprise solution architect.
  • Expertise in remote and office-based user integration, as well as hybrid cloud architecture, including cross-cloud connectivity.
  • Experience evaluating and analyzing workloads in public and private cloud environments.
  • Extensive experience in cloud security engineering and cloud network engineering.
  • Significant experience using the Agile Methodology to manage IT project teams.
  • Significant experience with managing projects using DevOps concepts.
