- Support and collaborate with the Venue Managers on day-to-day operations.
- Manage the day-to-day operations with active presence on the floor, leading your team to deliver service excellence.
- Work in partnership with the Venue Managers & Chefs to execute the smooth and flawless operation of the front and heart of house.
- Drive revenue and profit through the department and implementation of strategies, practices, and promotions while keeping in line with the overall concepts.
- Effectively recruit and onboard new colleagues.
- Train and lead the team in all aspects of the department to ensure brand, service standards and SOPs are followed.
- Promote the growth and development of internal talent.
- Actively manage restaurant social media accounts in partnership with Marketing/PR Manager in accordance with marketing standards.
- Working with the Marketing/PR Manager, manage online reputation by responding in a timely and professional manner, addressing any concerns.
- Ensure all brand standards and programs are in place and maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments to contribute to the overall smooth operation of the hotel.
- Consistently drive innovation to be the ‘Hottest Place in Town’ by actively promoting our venues.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
- Must be service oriented and capable of communicating effectively with persons involved in all levels of authority, both internally and externally.
- Must possess basic computational ability.
- Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail functions.
- Must be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Minimum two (2) years work experience in a Luxury Hotel Environment
- Experience in POS system(s) an asset
- High School diploma or equivalent or vocational training
- TB Clearance
- Maui County Liquor Card
- TIPS Certification
- State of Hawaii Food Safety or ServSafe Certification
