You'll approach each interaction with a problem-solving mindset, professionalism, and care, ensuring our members feel heard and supported throughout the lending process.We're passionate about developing our team's talent, and for those who are driven to grow, this position offers a clear path to advance into a Consumer Lending Specialist II role.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct loan interviews by gathering and verifying employment, income, and credit information
  • Prepare and process all required loan documents with accuracy and attention to compliance
  • Respond to member inquiries via phone, online applications, and in person
  • Support loan servicing needs including payments, pay-offs, skip payments, and payroll changes
  • Identify opportunities to refinance loans and recommend additional products and services
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to all applicable regulations (e.g., BSA, Patriot Act, OFAC)
  • Foster a collaborative and respectful environment by working positively with fellow team members

  • 6 months to 2 years of similar or related experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Friendly and professional communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort with basic math
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, calculators, and standard office equipment
  • Ability to work seated for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 5 lbs

Location & Schedule:This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Downtown Shelton Branch.
