Responsibilities:As a Development Platform Architect at Panasonic Avionics, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based infrastructure solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software architects, application architects, software engineers, DevOps specialists, and system administrators, to architect, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure to support the company's business objectives.What you will be doing:
- Build Internal and External Development platforms, build developer workflows, test apps and Supports Virtual Rack Architecture to enable virtual test environments for NGHE.
- Design and architect cloud-based applications and solutions on the AWS platform.
- Collaborate with software engineers and development teams to define scalable and resilient architectures for cloud applications.
- Provide guidance on AWS services and best practices to ensure optimal utilization of cloud resources.
- Develop and document architectural patterns, standards, and guidelines for cloud-based applications.
- Assess and optimize application performance, security, and availability on the AWS platform.
- Conduct system architecture reviews and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in cloud computing and AWS services.
- Assist in the implementation and deployment of cloud solutions, including infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on the AWS platform.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to cloud-based applications and services.
- Paid time off: Exempt Salaried employees receive unlimited PTO. This means that there is no fixed number, range, or limit to the amount of Personal and Vacation Days that may be taken for exempt employees. Non-exempt hourly employees accrue 14 vacation days per year + 7 sick days + 3 personal days. Accrual rate increases with tenure.
