Manages the daily coordination of projects including preparing and maintaining budgets and staffing requirements, and is responsible for estimating project costs, gathering and analyzing data, preparing progress reports, coordinating project tasks with various functional organizations, and identifying project problems.Key Responsibilities:Advanced knowledge with BAS systems, Carrier i-Vu knowledge is a plusRequires an individual with an advanced skillset in BAS / controls programmingProgramming of controls systems and implementing developed Sequence of OperationsComplete each assigned project focusing on customer satisfaction and specification compliance while maintaining budgetary guidelinesPartner with sales function to set parameters for equipment needs and project timelineCreate submittals, read and understand project specifications and MEP drawing sets, controls and shop drawingsDocument and track project completion with as-builts and final program notation with all field changes in collaboration with our Project ManagerAssemble Operation & Maintenance Manuals for completed projects.Utilize company and as required customer standard programs for designing graphic function blocks for assigned projectsTest project programs to ensure specified sequences of operation are met and performed accordingly to industry standardsInspect HVAC system including point-to-point, determining the proper operating ranges for field devices, as well as complete functional system checkoutsConduct graphics engineering functions which include creating equipment and floor plan graphics per project documentsSubmit material orders for project- required materials to the purchasing group.Job requires some fieldwork with controllers and associated components alongside our Controls Field EngineersAssist in the development of functional checkpoints lists for commissioning and additional documentation requirements to commission the system or work with the Commissioning AgentIncentive compensation eligibleRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.2+ years of experience in Project Engineering/ManagementPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of computers, setup procedures, and networking systemsPrevious experience in AutoCAD and BluebeamWorking experience with Carrier i-Vu, Tridium or BACnet systemsProficient with Microsoft SuiteExcellent written and verbal communications skillsKnowledge in DDC control theory and applications pertaining to the HVAC/ControlPrior experience in HVAC and/or Building Automation#LI-OnsiteRSRCARCarrier is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
