The Service Support Specialist will assist the service department in dispatching, customer service, and completion of generator warranty & new unit start-ups.Responsibilities:
  • Schedule all national account start-ups assigned to KGE by Generac
  • Provide support to our contractors, customers, and factory representatives
  • Utilize in-house software to submit appropriate documentation for payment by Generac
  • Utilize Generac website to pull credit memos and invoice jobs
  • Assist with dispatching technicians to assigned projects
  • Support the service team as needed
  • Rotate in after hours on-call rotation
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop relationships with co-workers & vendors
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent time management skills
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma.
  • 1 year experience in customer service, administrative or related field
Physical Requirements:
  • On-site position
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
