Description :$500 sign on bonusPOSITION SUMMARYOperate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. Loads parts in machine, cycles machine, detects malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Run production lots, communicate with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains safe, organized and clean work environment.RESPONSIBILITIESPerform typical machine shop operationsDetect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designeePerform Preventative Maintenance and document as requiredMaintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety proceduresOperates two or more CNC machines efficiently, including setup and deburring without assistanceProvide assistance and training to CNC OperatorsPerform inspection of machined products, measuring parts to meet print specificationsComplete and maintain paperwork for partsPerform basic troubleshooting as requiredPerform all other duties, as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTSMust be able to stand, walk (on concrete surfaces), bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and lift to perform repetitive movementsMust be able to lift/push/pull objects up to 35 pounds, heavier objects require assistanceAbility to adhere to safety policiesMust have working command of the English language and be able to communicate orally and in writing (basic oral instructions, simple written memos and instructions)Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math to perform basic calculations and use basic hand held measuring toolsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or GED RequiredCNC Associates Degree from Technical School required3 or more years CNC Mill and Lathe experience requiredRBC Bearings is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Education : High School
