- Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
- Embody the resort's service standards in a way that leaves team members and guests telling their friends all about us.
- Restock housekeeping carts with fresh linens and remove used linens and trash throughout the day.
- Clean and maintain public areas including hallways, pool areas, fitness center, and lobbies.
- Deliver requested items (like extra towels or pillows) to guest rooms quickly and with a smile.
- Help break down cardboard, manage laundry bins, and organize supply rooms.
- Support special cleaning tasks like carpet shampooing or deep cleaning when needed.
- Keep an eye out for damage or anything unusual and report it to your supervisor.
- Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)
- You won't be supervising other team members.
- You won't be entering restricted casino or gaming areas unless escorted by authorized personnel.
- You're responsible for upholding our service standards, keeping spaces tidy and stocked, and helping guests feel welcome.
- You'll need to be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings when we are busy.
- During your shift, you'll be on your feet a lot-walking, reaching, lifting, bending, and occasionally climbing stairs or ladders.
- You'll regularly lift items up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- You may push and pull laundry bins or carts and move items around guest and storage areas.
- It's important to stay calm and make good decisions under pressure, especially when dealing with stressful situations or upset people.
- Friendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.
- Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Six months of housekeeping experience is helpful but not required-we're happy to train the right person.
