  • Responsible for manning the customer service desk with the FamCamp.
  • Greets and assists guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Takes reservations and payment for FamCamp guests.
  • Operates a Point of Sa les (POS) system, handling all monetary transactions include safe cash handling procedures. Prepares daily cashier reports and makes deposits. Monitors activities of FamCamp patrons to ensure rules and regulations are complied with.
  • Assists in performing inventory of daily supplies and replenish supply items as needed.
  • Keeps supervisor informed of any problems or conflicts.
  • Maintains area in clean and orderly condition both inside and outside of building removing debris.
  • Helps with group activities which require more than one staff monitor; performing specifically assigned tasks.
  • Operates FamCamp vehicles safely and IAW established directives.

Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures. Must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public.You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:EducationSome federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
