- Works under moderate supervision to ensure projects meet customer specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Provide guidance and support to Wood Shop team members.
- Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, sanders, planers, lathes, and routers to cut, shape, and smooth wooden parts.
- Assemble wooden components using hand tools, glue, nails, screws, and clamps, ensuring precise alignment and fit.
- Apply stains, varnishes, paints, or other finishes to wood products, ensuring an even and smooth application.
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate production of wood products.
- Select, measure, and cut wood and other materials according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on woodworking equipment, ensuring tools are in good working order.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Inspect finished products for quality, adjusting, as necessary, to meet the required standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory of wood, hardware, and other materials, reporting shortages or needs to supervisors.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in cabinetry and/or woodworking field.

- Must demonstrate a consistent and stable work history, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in a custom wood shop environment.
- Associate's degree in Carpentry or similar field, 2 years Vocational High School Carpentry program and/or completion of a Cabinetry or related Certification program.
- Physically able to stand up to 8+ hours per day.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
- Must have the ability to hear and respond to auditory signals, distinguish tones and pitches in equipment, and use hearing protection during specific tasks.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, squat, kneel, climb, balance, and reach overhead.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close and/or color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection.
- Physically able to use Respiratory protection, as needed.
