Patients receive personalized care from a multidisciplinary team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians. One heartwarming example: a former patient, a retired Marine, returned to the unit dressed as a mascot to thank the staff who helped him walk again after a hip fracture. The focus in the ARU is on regaining independence through daily therapy sessions tailored to each patient's needs. It's a place where small victories-like standing up or walking a few steps-are celebrated milestones.Lifepoint Rehabilitation is a leading provider of acute inpatient rehabilitation services with more than 300 hospital-based rehabilitation units, medical/surgical and outpatient therapy settings and more than 30 joint venture inpatient rehabilitation hospitals across the country.
