
EHS Specialist

- Partner with multiple departments to identify hazards and uncover opportunities for safety improvements.
- Lead and conduct investigations for all incidents and accidents, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate and deliver engaging safety training to keep our workforce informed and empowered.
- Actively coach operations teams-attend meetings, conduct facility inspections, and investigate incidents alongside leadership.
- Perform inspection audits on processes and equipment to ensure all safety standards are met.
- Align efforts of consultants with manufacturing, maintenance, and tooling schedules.
- Promote team involvement activities to improve safety systems and boost operational efficiency.
- Track and analyze safety data to identify trends, providing actionable insights to operational teams (KPI tracking).
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed-this role evolves as our department grows and adapts.
- Bachelor's degree in EHS, Occupational Safety, or a related field with 2-5 years of experience; OR 2-5 years of Health, Environmental, or Safety experience in a manufacturing environment (required).
- Experience in wastewater treatment
- Experience with OSHA 300 log
- Automotive industry or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of automated manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Solid knowledge of OSHA/EPA/ANSI regulations (OSHA 30 preferred).
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
