This part-time role involves performing sanitation, restocking, and inspection duties during 12-hour weekend shifts, ensuring all facilities are safe, clean, and fully operational. The worker may also assist with general facility upkeep and light groundskeeping as needed.What does a typical day look like for the Janitorial Worker?You will:
Clean and sanitize mobile toilet and shower trailers, including floors, walls, stalls, sinks, mirrors, showers, and fixtures.
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, and other consumables.
Remove and properly dispose of trash and waste materials.
Inspect facilities to ensure cleanliness and operational readiness.
Report any maintenance or repair needs (plumbing, leaks, damage, etc.) to supervisors promptly.
Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Additional Duties May Include:
Assisting with general facility cleaning (restrooms, break areas, and common spaces).
Performing light groundskeeping such as sweeping walkways, removing trash/debris, and cleaning entryways.
Supporting setup and breakdown of work areas or events.
Assisting maintenance staff with minor tasks as directed.
What qualifications do you look for?You might be the professional we're looking for if you have:
Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship.
Prior custodial, janitorial, or sanitation experience preferred (experience with mobile facilities a plus).
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail.
Comfortable performing physical tasks such as bending, lifting (up to 40 lbs.), and standing for long periods.
Must be available for 12-hour shifts on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
Reliable transportation to and from Los Alamitos, CA.
